Interesting facts about larch

Larch is a tree reaching a height of up to 40 m, found throughout the Czech Republic. The tree is useful to people mainly for its high-quality wood, as well as for the balsam obtained from its resin, and in recent years young shoots have also been used and processed into bud tinctures. It contains resin acids, essential oils, turpentine, bitter substances, glycosides and other active substances. Larch is a highly valued plant and is used similarly to other conifers.
