Sometimes one pauses to consider how powerful nature is and how it can create on its own phenomena that the human mind cannot grasp. One of them is fossils, which are truly a very interesting phenomenon. Essentially, they are the remains of organisms from the geological past. Today they are even objects that can be a beautiful decoration or can be incorporated into jewelry making. It is true that before something like this is created, conditions must arise that allow fossils to form at all, preserving the remains of dead organisms or creating various imprints – in this case we could speak, for example, of petrified wood.

They form in interesting places
If you wanted to find these fossils, it might not be easy at all. They form in various placesthat provide the right conditions for their preservation. They can take various forms, but that is exactly what makes them very original and distinctive. The remains of an organism that stay lying on the ground naturally disappear – something eats them or they simply decompose. However, fossils form when the remains , or even a tree root or branches, for example, get somewhere into a material that perfectly protects them from external influences. But it is also true that not every material has this protective power. It also depends on the chemical composition and the remains of the organism or natural object. These remains must by no means decompose, but must instead be preserved.
Where to find such treasures
There are various places where fossils can be found or where they can form at all. They can be in water, in the sea; volcanic environments, caves, natural asphalt, loess or other wind deposits, amber and more can play a part. Or there is a much simpler way: you can easily choose these treasures in a shop and buy unique pieces that will certainly delight you.
