📦 In the set you will find these minerals:

Gray agate Botswana 🤍

Botswana agates are collector's gems thanks to their fine banding and elegant appearance. The gray varieties with contrasting white stripes look very understated and are also popular in jewelry making. They formed 190–200 million years ago during volcanic activity, when cavities in the lava were filled with quartz solutions. The best-known deposit lies near the town of Bobonong in southern Botswana, where these agates are still mined today.

Pink agate Botswana 🌸

Pink Botswana agates stand out with soft pastel tones – from apricot through light pink to violet shades. The combination of fine banding and gentle color transitions makes them highly prized stones. They formed by the same process as other agates in Botswana, namely the gradual deposition of silica in cavities of lava rocks. The main deposit is around Bobonong, near the border with Zimbabwe.

Botswana carnelian (banded) 🔶

Botswana carnelians are among the rarest varieties thanks to their intense red-orange colors and contrasting white bands. This type of carnelian forms similarly to agate, with iron oxides giving it its color. The white pattern is the result of changes during its formation. The most important deposit is in the Bobonong area, which is also home to many other unique types of agate.

Mozambique agate ❤️

Mozambique agates differ from Botswana agates in their finer pattern and less contrasting banding. This takes nothing away from their beauty, however – their charm lies in a rich range of colors from brown and red to purple shades. These agates formed 40–60 million years ago during volcanic activity. The main deposit is in the Tete province of Mozambique.

Malawi chalcedony 🔷

Chalcedonies from Malawi boast delicate, crystal-clear light blue shades, sometimes accompanied by white stripes or small cavities with tiny crystals. The most valuable are deep blue specimens, which make up only a fraction of the stones found. Chalcedony forms during hydrothermal processes, when mineral springs fill cavities in rocks. Our stone comes from the Ngabu area in the Chikwawa region of Malawi.

Bahia agate 🔥

Agates from Bahia in Brazil captivate with warm colors from yellow to reddish brown, often with distinct horizontal banding. Some pieces also hide a quartz center, which increases their decorative value. They formed during volcanic activity, and their best-known deposit is near the São Francisco River in the Brazilian state of Bahia.

Moss agate 🌿

Moss agate is special because instead of classic banding it contains green inclusions of the mineral chlorite that resemble moss and shrubs. These patterns create fascinating structures, especially in translucent stones. It forms through hydrothermal processes, like other agates. The best-known deposits are in India, specifically in the Deccan region.

White agate 🤍✨

White agate is an elegant stone characterized by fine layers of chalcedony and opal. Indian varieties often carry beige and gray shades complemented by white bands. This type formed in the Bhilwara area of Rajasthan, India, hundreds of millions of years ago. Thanks to its understated look, it has traditionally also been used to make decorative objects.

Tree agate 🌳

Tree agate is characterized by the contrast between an opaque white mass and green dendritic inclusions resembling tree branches. Its base is a mixture of chalcedony and opal, while chlorite inclusions give the stone its characteristic look. It formed during the creation of India's Deccan Plateau 65 million years ago. Most of it is mined in the Indian state of Maharashtra.
