Rose quartz

Rose quartz is the pink variety of quartz. Its color comes from tiny impurities, mostly titanium and manganese. It has a hardness of 7 on the Mohs scale. It is mined mainly in Brazil and Madagascar and in folk tradition is associated with love and tenderness.
