Fuchsite

Fuchsite is a green variety of the mica muscovite whose color comes from chromium impurities. It has a hardness of 2 to 3 on the Mohs scale, so it is very soft. It forms fine flakes that glitter in quartz rocks, for example in green aventurine. When wearing jewelry, protect it from knocks.
