Himalayan salt
Himalayan salt is a pink to orange salt consisting mainly of sodium chloride, mined in Pakistan's Salt Range mountains. Traces of iron oxides give it its color. It has a hardness of 2 on the Mohs scale and dissolves in water. It is sold as salt lamps, crystals and for baths. It is not a medicine or health aid.
