Dumortierite

Dumortierite is a blue to violet-gray aluminum boron silicate. It has a hardness of 7 to 8 on the Mohs scale, so it is very durable. It often occurs as inclusions in quartz, which then looks blue. It is mined in Brazil, Madagascar, the USA and China. It is used for beads, cabochons and pendants.
