Celestine
Celestine is a pale blue, sometimes white or yellowish strontium sulfate. Its name comes from the Latin word for heavenly, after its delicate color. It has a hardness of 3 to 3.5 on the Mohs scale and is brittle. Beautiful druses and crystals are mined in Madagascar, Sicily and the USA.
