Amber
Amber is fossilized resin of ancient coniferous trees, tens of millions of years old. It is not a mineral but an organic material. It has a hardness of only 2 to 2.5 on the Mohs scale and is very light. The best known deposits are by the Baltic Sea. It often contains tiny trapped inclusions.
