Instructions for use

Safety information

Check that the voltage on the rating plate of your appliance corresponds to your power supply. Protect the power cable from contact with water or moisture – risk of electric shock! Protect the power cable from damage! Never place anything on it and do not twist it. Do not stretch the power cable. The power cable must not run over sharp edges. Do not handle the lamp with damp or wet hands – risk of electric shock! Make sure the lamp is placed on a firm, level surface. Do not use the lamp outdoors. The lamp is intended for indoor household use only. Never leave the lamp unattended while it is plugged into the mains. Protect the lamp from damp and wet. Protect the lamp from extreme temperatures. Protect the lamp from direct sunlight. Do not immerse the lamp in water. Unplug the appliance by pulling the plug, not the cable. Always unplug the lamp before cleaning it! Do not use the lamp if it shows any signs of damage. Have all repairs carried out by a qualified service only. Never dismantle the lamp. Do not cover the ventilation openings of the appliance. Keep plastic bags out of the reach of children – risk of suffocation.

Service

When using the product, follow the instructions in the enclosed instructions for use. A complaint will not be accepted if you have modified the product or have not followed the instructions for use.

Environmental protection:

At the end of the appliance's service life, or when repair would be uneconomical, do not dispose of the appliance with household waste. To dispose of the product correctly, take it to designated collection points, where it will be accepted free of charge. By disposing of it correctly, you will help preserve valuable natural resources and help prevent potential negative effects on the environment and human health that could result from improper waste disposal. Ask your local authority or nearest collection point for further details. Improper disposal of this type of waste may be subject to fines in accordance with national regulations.

The warranty does not cover

  • natural wear and tear of the functional parts of the product resulting from its use
  • service work related to standard maintenance of the product (e.g. cleaning)
  • defects caused by external influences (e.g. climatic conditions, dust, improper use, etc.)
  • mechanical damage resulting from dropping the product, impact, a blow to it, etc.
  • damage caused by improper handling or overloading.

Assembling the product

  1. Screw the bulb into the lamp holder.
  2. Press the springs on the lamp holder and insert it from below into the opening in the salt crystal.
  3. Pass the power cable through the opening in the wooden base.

Maintenance and cleaning

Always make sure the product is disconnected from the power supply before cleaning or replacing the bulb! Always let the product cool down completely before cleaning or replacing the bulb.

Clean the product only with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Do not wash the salt crystal with water – it could dissolve.

Use only a bulb of the same type as in the original packaging – 15 W (max. 25 W), E14 thread.
