Stichtite

Stichtite is a pink to purple mineral, a magnesium chromium carbonate, with a hardness of 1.5 to 3 on the Mohs scale, so it is very soft. It often intergrows with green serpentine, forming a contrasting mix called atlantisite. The main deposits are in Tasmania and South Africa.
