Prehnite

Prehnite is a light green to yellow-green calcium aluminum silicate that forms spherical or kidney-shaped clusters. It has a hardness of 6 to 6.5 on the Mohs scale. Major deposits are in Mali, South Africa, Australia and China. Translucent pieces are cut into cabochons, beads and pendants.
