Moldavite

Moldavite is a natural glass of green to brownish-green color from the tektite group. It formed about 15 million years ago when a meteorite struck what is now Germany (the Ries crater). It is found in South Bohemia and Moravia. Cut moldavites are made into jewelry, raw ones are collected as natural rarities.
