Azurite

Azurite is a deep blue copper carbonate that often occurs together with malachite. It has a hardness of 3.5 to 4 on the Mohs scale and is relatively soft. In the long run it does not tolerate heat, moisture or acids, as it can turn into green malachite. It is used as a collector stone and in jewelry.
